I currently feel like writing, but I don't really know what to write. Oh yea, I think I know something to write about. A glimpse of attention to Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr's performance on Grammy Awards night 2014, which took place last night. I didn't watch it live (from the internet), I only watched some videos of the event from YouTube this morning. To be honest, I still am a Beatlefan after all these years. But I must admit that I ain't the Beatlefreak I used to be, as in about ten years ago. This way I could be more objective on them. Although at times, I used to be a little way too sentimental over postings, events, news about them. Of course, who can really discard a used-to-be-an-old-real-love completely? I wouldn't want to either.

I didn't really know about the performance schedule of both Beatle last night, all I know is that they got a Lifetime Achievement award from Grammy. The Beatles actually have gotten a lot of achievements throughout the century, and consider that Grammy is one of the biggest music events; it must felt really nice to be appreciated with the most honorable award in music industry. Congratulations on the award then, Beatles, you know that am still rooting for you! They also did some gigs at the stage, singing With a Little Help from My Friend and their solos; Starkey's Photograph and Macca's Queenie Eye . I think their performances were good, just as usual, but it wasn't as good as the old days. I used to get on my nerves whenever people said that my idols can't really sing anymore today (they said that they should retire singing, or their performances were quite dull), but this time I kind of agree to what they said. To put it in a more logical opinion; they should have considered and paid attention or been extra careful to their activities in terms of their health and their current age. They are no longer active and energetic lads from Liverpool, although I admit that the word 'fab' in Fab Four is truly suitable for them, and should still be pinned to them up to these days - and forever, if possible.

I realize it surely is time for them to finally pick up all those honours and appreciations as tributes to what they had achieved in their past glory days. They were great, really great, up to these days, in my opinion. But the truth is, we all have to admit that The Beatles is no longer the band of today. They change, they grow old. People change, people also grow old, and so do their lifestyle, taste, and say... Favorite band. The heyday is already gone. I know The Beatles themselves may be enjoying their moments, but sometimes I thought of this: they need to stop, take a deep breath to reflect and contemplate. Know that they had given a tremendous value to music realm, and delivered many, many musicians of many genres. Know that they had been an inspirations to all of music masterpieces in the world. Know that somehow they had given something to this planet earth, something called love (sounds too cliché, I know. But what can I do, it's their ultimate message; an 'All you need is love'). Know that they had spread happiness to many faces - no problem if yours isn't one of them, but am proudly saying that mine is. And after all the recognitions... I guess it's about time for them to accept the reality. Obladi obladi; just like what they said. Life goes on.

The seasons have changed. The Beatles have grown old - and so have we. Need to face the circumstances, keep them still in our Apple Scruff hearts as we walk on to the days ahead.
