So grateful that I finally got a chance to visit my mother's hometown; Padang. The first time I got there, I immediately got captivated by the beautiful sceneries and Bagonjong; its traditional pointy-shaped roof. I've seen more than thousands of those from the pictures, but it's different. Yes it's truly different; the feel of looking at the architecture from books or magazines and by experiencing the architecture by our own senses. Will surely explore it again someday! *Aamiin. :) All taken with Minolta Riva zoom 150, on Fujifilm Superia 200. More photos of Padang on film Flickr set. Labels: film photography, traveling |
